Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager is accountable for short- and long-term planning, and the overall staffing and infrastructure of the warehouse. The incumbent manages the efficient flow of product through the warehouse to ensure an operationally efficient organization, simultaneously achieving respective targets and fostering a culture of continuous process improvement and a culture of workplace health and safety. Manages all aspects of the warehouse operation, with safety of employees and efficiency of the operation being the priority.

Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00/hour

Hours: Day Shift 

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and inventory control.
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations and improve accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in heavy lifting and equipment operation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize distribution processes and enhance overall productivity.
  • Attend all required Dangerous Goods training and ensure compliance in Warehouse with legislative requirements
  • Comply with all WHIMIS and Health and Safety requirements
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Good Documentation (GDP) practices
  • Attend all required in-house training and off-site training, ensuring all required certification/credentials are up to date
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Information

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
  • College Education
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory/Management experience
  • 5-7 years of related work experience
  • Good computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel, NetSuite
  • Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to plan work schedules and to manage time effectively in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Basic arithmetic skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
