We’re hiring a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations in a food-grade facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting raw cocoa beans, finished products, and packaging materials, while adhering to strict food safety regulations and operational standards.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Brantford, ON

Pay Rate: $18.75/Hour

Hours: Day shift – 6:45am – 3:15pm, must be flexible with end timing

What You'll Do:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport raw cocoa beans, finished products, and packaging materials within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying shipment accuracy against documentation.
• Follow proper storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely supply of materials to processing lines.

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License/Certification
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience, preferably in a food environment (required)
• Familiarity with food safety standards and warehouse inventory systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dusty or temperature-variable environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours, as required by this position
