Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator/ Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a forklift to transport goods, pick orders accurately, and ensure timely and efficient delivery within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to pick and transport products to and from designated storage areas and order picking locations.
- Accurately pick, organize, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
- Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage during picking and transport.
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies to the inventory control team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following proper housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Assist with restocking shelves and organizing inventory as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of orders by checking product codes, quantities, and labeling.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
