We’re hiring for a machine operator for roles supporting manufacturing processes from start to finish. Tasks may include operating machinery, or conducting quality checks.

Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift- 7:00am- 3:00pm
What You’ll Do:
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines (spray paint, taper, wicker) based on candle specifications (size, type, wick, design)
- Load and manage materials like wax, wicks, and paint; ensure proper supply levels for continuous production
- Operate machines to apply coatings, shape wax, and insert wicks into candles; monitor the process for consistency and quality
- Inspect candles at each stage (before painting, during tapering, and after wicking) for size accuracy, surface finish, and proper placement of wicks and coatings. Remove defective products as needed
- Mix paint or dyes to achieve desired color; adjust settings to ensure even coverage. Maintain proper wick tension and alignment to avoid defects
- Clean and maintain equipment regularly to prevent build up and ensure smooth operation. Perform minor repairs or report issues to maintenance staff
- Follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals, wax, and machinery. Wear necessary protective gear
- Track production output, machine settings, and material usage for reporting and efficiency
