Are you an experienced Welder Fitter with strong blueprint reading and silver soldering skills? Our client in Ajax, a leader in manufacturing specialty equipment for heat treating and metal melting, is looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter/Welder to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering day shifts and competitive pay in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Ajax, ON

Pay Rate: $22/hr to $24/hr

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do:

• Perform fitting and mechanical assembly work
• Complete silver soldering and welding tasks (TIG/Aluminum welding is an asset)
• Operate shop tools including drill press and bandsaw
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Follow directions and work independently when required
• Perform other duties as required

• Proven experience in fitting and silver soldering
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Welding experience (TIG/Aluminum welding is considered an asset)
• Machining experience is an asset
• Background in mechanical assembly
• Proficiency with hand tools and familiarity with shop equipment (e.g., drill press, bandsaw)
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
