Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in office management. This role involves providing administrative support across various functions, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Location: Oshawa, ON

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Hours: Day Shift (Total 40 hours/week)

Duties

  • Manage all administrative tasks, including greeting visitors and answering phone systems with professional phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook for document creation, email correspondence, and scheduling
  • Support office management tasks such as organizing files, managing supplies, and overseeing general administrative functions
  • Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are advantageous
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong typing skills and computer literacy; familiarity with office management and clerical tasks
  • Previous experience in medical or dental reception is a plus; experience as a personal assistant or in customer support is beneficial
  • Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative certifications are a plus
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
