Job Description

Staff Plus is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for our client in Markham. This role is ideal for someone with strong French and English communication skills and experience in customer service, intake, administration, or case coordination.

You’ll manage incoming referrals and inquiries, speak with customers by phone and email, verify important information, and ensure each intake is accurately documented and followed through.

 

Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Rate: $23.29/hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and prioritize incoming referrals, applications, and customer inquiries based on urgency and service requirements
  • Complete 20+ welcome and follow-up calls per day
  • Respond to customer emails and follow up on incomplete intake information
  • Collect, verify, and accurately document customer, medical, insurance, and service information
  • Communicate with customers, insurance providers, and third parties to confirm coverage, documentation, and requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and case records
  • Process requests and update internal databases and tracking systems
  • Support day-to-day intake, customer service, and administrative operations
  • Ensure customer information is handled accurately and professionally

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in intake, customer service, administration, client support, or a related role
  • Strong telephone and email communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple customer files, cases, requests, or follow-ups simultaneously
  • Strong data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience reviewing information and identifying missing or incomplete documentation
  • Previous experience with referrals, case coordination, client onboarding, medical or insurance-related information is an asset
  • Experience communicating with insurance providers or third-party service providers is an asset
  • Familiarity with CRM, case-management, or customer database systems is an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
