Job Description

We’re hiring skilled CNC Operators for a leading manufacturing facility in Scarborough, offering competitive pay ($28-$35/hr) and a chance to grow with a temp-to-perm opportunity. You’ll set up and operate advanced 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts with precision and efficiency. If you have strong experience with Matsuura and DMG machines, a solid understanding of GD&T, and a commitment to safety, quality, and ISO standards, we want to hear from you. Multiple shifts available, including day, afternoon, and night with a premium.

 

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour - $35.00/hour (based on experience)

Hours: 

Day - 7:30 am - 3:45 - Mon - Fri

Afternoon - 3:30pm - 11:45pm, Mon - Fri

Night - 11:30 pm - 7:45 am, Mon - Fri (night premium will be added).

 

 

 What You'll Do:

  • Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to meet production specifications and tooling standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
  • Ensure quality standards and tolerances are consistently met
  • Conduct first-off inspections and perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and ISO Quality Standards

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience setting up 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Proficiency with:
  • Matsuura 4/5 Axis with Fanuc controls
  • DMG Horizontal/5 Axis with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Skilled in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, etc.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Solid math skills (geometry, algebra) for material calculations
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and strong team ethic
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this
    position.
