We’re looking for a Cabs Assembler-Fabricator to help us build stunning, custom elevator interiors from the ground up. You’ll work with a variety of premium materials such as metals, woods, glass, and to craft wall panels, ceilings, and architectural features that define the vertical spaces in buildings across North America.

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing 

Location: Mississauga, ON 

Pay Rate: $26.00/Hour

Hours: DAY SHIFT Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

 What You'll Do:

• Build and assemble parts in accordance with mechanical drawings and instruction
• Understand and correctly interpret mechanical drawings
• Apply close visual attention to product appearance in accordance with standards for finishes
• Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently
• Complete work within expected periods of time
• Minimize scrap through diligence and planning 
• Open communication with various interdepartmental personnel
• Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality
• Complete shop records accurately and comprehensively
• Work with minimal supervision
• Other tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or shop work (Custom production)
• Sheet metal or metal fabrication experience an asset
• Certification or training in mechanical, carpentry an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude 
• Proficient and able to use power tools
• Experience working with quality finishes preferred 
• Proficiency with reading drawings
• Medium to highly detail-oriented
• Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
