We’re hiring a certified Forklift Operator with experience using the Order Picker truck for a busy warehouse environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders, transporting materials safely, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $21.45/hour

What You'll Do:

  • Safely operate a forklift to pick and transport products to and from designated storage areas and order picking locations
  • Accurately pick, organize, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery
  • Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage during picking and transport
  • Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies to the inventory control team
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following proper housekeeping and safety procedures
  • Assist with restocking shelves and organizing inventory as needed
  • Verify the accuracy of orders by checking product codes, quantities, and labeling
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager

Job Requirements

  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Proven experience operating a forklift, particularly in an order picking or warehouse setting, is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
  • Basic math skills for order verification and inventory management
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
