Job Description

Staff Plus is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for the accurate tracking, labeling, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments while supporting daily operations within an electronic waste recycling facility. Working under a General Labourer classification, the successful candidate will manage shipping and receiving documentation, enter inventory data into the database, verify material weights and lot information, and ensure physical inventory accurately matches system records.

Job Type: Temporary, day to day as directed by Staff Plus

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour 

Hours: Day Shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Data Entry & Inventory Labeling

  • Enter customer information, material weights, and lot numbers into the RMA database.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive inbound shipments and review driver paperwork for accuracy.
  • Match Bills of Lading (BOLs) with shipping documentation.
  • Process and route completed paperwork to the administrative office.

Warehouse Operations

  • Prepare and secure outbound shipments.
  • Conduct inventory counts of shipping supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock and warehouse area.
  • Assist with warehouse and production tasks as needed.

Material Processing

  • Operate baling equipment for cardboard and recyclable materials.
  • Assist with sorting and processing electronic waste materials.
  • Generate and apply inventory tracking labels to Gaylord boxes.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and maintain records.

Job Requirements

  • High School/GED or equivalent; some college/university education an asset.
  • Tool and equipment operation experience
  • Proficient with computer applications
  • Detail oriented
  • Can lift up to 50lbs periodically
  • Excellent focus on safety standards and logistics
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
