About the Role
Staff Plus is seeking an HR Coordinator to assist with daily human resources functions. This position collaborates closely with the HR Manager, supervisors, and operations teams and plays an essential role in recruitment, employee administration, attendance tracking, onboarding, and health and safety support within a fast-moving industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records, including timesheets, personal data, training documentation, and other HR files in both physical and digital formats
- Oversee and support full-cycle recruitment for industrial positions, including posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating with agencies, scheduling interviews, and providing real-time updates to managers and supervisors
- Ensure all employment prerequisites are satisfied, conduct background checks, and prepare offer letters and employment agreements
- Partner with managers and supervisors to assess current and future staffing requirements
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are completed
- Administer employee training programs and maintain accurate training records
- Support attendance tracking, approve hours within the HRIS (Payworks), and assist with payroll-related activities, including agency timesheet processing
- Carry out general HR administrative tasks, including monitoring attendance policy compliance, supporting performance reviews, and assisting with performance management processes
- Provide guidance to supervisors regarding performance management and disciplinary procedures
- Address internal and external HR inquiries promptly and accurately
- Communicate HR policies, compensation details, benefits information, and workplace procedures to employees
- Support the administration of HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, performance management, employee relations, investigations, health and safety, and training and development initiatives
- Conduct research and develop job descriptions, occupational classifications, salary structures, and competency assessment tools
- Collaborate with Health & Safety, Compliance, and Operations teams as required
- Maintain and update HR and Health & Safety records within Citation Canada and Reliant EHS systems
- Revise and update HR policies as needed
- Assist the HR Manager with ongoing projects, initiatives, and general departmental support
- Complete additional related tasks and special projects as assigned
