Pay rate: $43.10/hr plus shift premiums
Overview:
- Work collaboratively as part of a team made up of other trades (i.e., millwrights)
- Follow all plant, and safety procedures and wear all required personal protective equipment
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Inspect, test, dismantle, repair, replace, or adjust faulty parts on wiring on electrical equipment, (i.e., switches, circuit breakers, transformers, panel boards)
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, forklifts, and cranes to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist with proactive and reactive troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment to minimize production downtime and delays
- Actively contribute to the preventative maintenance program by providing recommendations for improvement.
