Staff Plus is hiring a Maintenance Lead in Oakville, ON for a full-time opportunity supporting preventative maintenance, facility upkeep, maintenance tracking, and safe day-to-day operations in a busy manufacturing/production environment. This is a great role for someone with hands-on maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to help keep equipment, facilities, and maintenance activities running safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: Starting at $25.50/hour
Hours: Day Shift, 6:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.; flexibility for other shifts may be required
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule and report any delays, downtime, or concerns to management.
- Respond promptly to machine, building, or facility maintenance issues that may create a safety, compliance, or operational concern.
- Maintain accurate records in the computerized job tracking system for all maintenance work performed.
- Use maintenance data to help analyze department costs and make recommendations to management as needed.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance items in the computerized system.
- Oversee maintenance work activities to ensure tasks are completed safely and meet quality standards.
- Support safe operating practices and ensure work is completed in accordance with company policies and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Act as a resource for facility maintenance personnel and support team availability as needed.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
