Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The candidate must be certified under Ontario regulations, particularly with Skilled Trades Ontario, and hold a valid Certificate of Qualification 309A (Licensed Electrician – Construction & Maintenance) or 442A (Certified Industrial Electrician). Experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in an industrial environment is required.

Pay Rate: Starting at $35.00/hour

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.

• Valid 309A Certificate of Qualification issued by Skilled Trades Ontario.
• Registered with the Ontario College of Trades.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in the food industry is ideal.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
