Staff Plus is hiring a licensed 313D HVAC Service Technician for a full-time opportunity with our client.

This position focuses on servicing, maintaining, and repairing in-suite HVAC equipment in condominium and multi-residential buildings. You will work with fan coil units, heat pumps, PTAC units, Magic-Pak systems, and ventilation equipment while diagnosing electrical, mechanical, airflow, drainage, and indoor air quality concerns.

This opportunity is well suited to a licensed HVAC professional who is confident managing service calls independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and communicates professionally with residents and property management staff.

Location: North York, ON

Pay Rate: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour

Hours: Hours may vary based on scheduled service calls and customer needs. Candidates must have flexibility regarding start and finish times.

What You’ll Do

• Service, maintain, and repair fan coil units, heat pumps, PTAC units, Magic-Pak systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose airflow, indoor air quality, drainage, condensation, and system performance concerns.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components.
• Perform preventative maintenance in condominium and multi-residential suites.
• Identify conditions that could contribute to water damage, drainage problems, condensation, or mould risk.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, condominium managers, and property staff.
• Manage service calls efficiently and complete work independently.
• Follow Ontario codes, workplace safety requirements, and established service procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Ontario 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence is required.
• Previous HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience.
• Two or more years of HVAC field experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of fan coil units, heat pumps, PTAC units, and ventilation systems.
• Condominium or multi-residential HVAC experience is an asset.
• Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and work full time hours as required by this position.
