Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Millwright (433A) to join our team at the electronic recycling plant located in Scarborough, ON. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
Shift: Midday shift (Flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures as well as perform periodic inspections of equipment and systems
- Perform mechanical repair & maintenance activities throughout the plant on equipment and facilities.
- Motors, hydraulics & pneumatic systems, bearings & gearboxes. Water heating and cooling systems. Reading blueprints and schematics. Equipment installations & rigging.
- Welding & fabrication. · Utilize Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement to maximize equipment output and processes.
- Execute preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps in a timely manner.
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders, PM’s and updating the equipment databases.
- Support divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and waste Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focus ·
- Available and flexible to work in a fast paced environment, be self-driven to meet or exceed targets and work a flexible schedule that includes planned, unplanned and on-call shifts.
