Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and equipment, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Work safely; following all safety precautions and procedures to ensure no injuries occur
• Work with close tolerances as per work order
• Inspect the product using testing equipment and verify correct measurements
• Examine the finished products to ensure that they meet customer requirements and industry standards
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
• Set up, adjust and operate metal forming machinery

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing as directed by Staff Plus

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Hours: 6:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 10:30am on Friday

• Ability to use hand held measurement instruments
• Mechanically inclined
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Basic Shop Math
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
