Job Description

Job Type: Full Time On-going

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.30 per hour

Hours: Afternoon shift Monday- Thursday 4:00pm to 1:00am and Friday 3:00pm to 12:00 at  $25.30

Training on days  Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 4:30am and Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm at $23.00

 What You'll Do:

 

  • Collect documentation related to final inspection and review for accuracy related to sales order.
  • Perform inspections on inbound and outbound product to ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met consistently and communicates any related issues to Quality Manager.
  • Incoming inspection of parts, and materials as per drawings.
  • Perform audits to verify quality check list of process.
  • Work with team members to understand the needs of the job, environment, and ensure compliance to specifications.
  • Maintain quality documentation according to established Quality manual and procedures.
  • Maintain daily shift log of problems and information.
  • End of line inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a QA Inspector
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience an asset
  • Manufacturing experience an asset
  • Experience using basic hand inspection tools
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings/design
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in use of basic computer technology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to lift loads up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)
  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
