Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our client's manufacturing team! The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with tools and equipment, and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment while developing valuable skills in warehouse management and assembly processes.

 

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Oakville, ON

Pay Rate: $21.35/ Hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

 

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare vehicles for production by washing, masking, cleaning, inspecting, and staging them
  • Install accessories, decals, trim, and other vehicle components using hand and power tools
  • Assist with bedliner production and other production line tasks as needed
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Report any quality issues or damaged materials
  • Move vehicles and materials throughout the facility
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Support different departments and assist with other production tasks as required

 

Job Requirements

  • Prior warehouse experience or background in manufacturing, assembly, automotive or production environments preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to learn multiple production processes and adapt to changing operational requirements
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this
    position
