Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Associate - Refining Clerk to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the steel fabrication process, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations.

Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm

Location: Markham, ON

Duties

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of steel structures and equipment.
  • Support welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly operations as needed.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • Prior experience in steel fabrication, construction, or related trades is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions is necessary. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within the steel fabrication industry while contributing to high-quality manufacturing projects.
  • Weigh, photograph, and label lots : 2 years (required)
  • Prepare products for Processing: 2 years (required)
  • Support Disposal: 2 years (required)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
